Pocket Type Ni-Cd Rechargeable Battery

According to different discharge requirements, pocket type Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries are classified into three types, KPH type (High discharge rate cells), KPM (Medium discharge rate cells) and KPL type (Low discharge rate cell).
Changhong pocket type Ni-Cd battery are widely used as emergency back-up power supply for railway and rolling stocks (crossing guards, lighting, signaling, communication and pantograph lifting), DC cabinet, distribution cabinet, UPS systems, AGV, photovoltaic system, petrochemical, oil&gas, utility and electricity industries (Emergency lighting&control equipment, offshore platform, cathodic protection for pipeline),
KPH TYPE (High Discharge Rate Cell)
KPH Series high rate Nickel Cadmium battery is particularly suitable for high discharge rate applications less than one hours, such as UPS, switchgear tripping and closing, etc.
KPM TYPE (Medium Discharge Rate Cell)
KPM Series medium rate nickel cadmium battery is made of pocket plates. The battery is suitable for medium discharge rate applications (between 30 minutes to 5 hours) such as railroad DC power sources, UPS, gas turbine control, etc.
KPL TYPE (Low Discharge Rate Cell)
KPL Series low rate nickel cadmium battery is made of pocket plates. The battery is designed for general purpose and standby applications such as lighting on trains, operation of circuit breaker, etc.
